I know weird, right? Oh no, these little gems have everything a girl could ask for. They are sweet, salty, cheesy, meaty, doughy, chewy and everything in between. Biting into one of these is sure to set off a party in your mouth.
Ingredients
- 1 cup apple peeled, diced
- 3/4 cup sugar granulated
- 1/2 cup brown sugar packed
- 1/2 cup raisins
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup SPAM diced
- 2 tablespoons corn starch
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 sheet puff pastry thaw if frozen
- 4 ounces cream cheese softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 5 teaspoons milk divided

Heat oven to 350F.

In medium saucepan, mix apple, granulated sugar, brown sugar and water.

Bring to a low boil over medium heat.

Remove from heat; mix in SPAM, raisins, cornstarch and vanilla.

Return to a boil over medium heat; boil until thickened.

Remove from heat; cool 10 minutes.

On a lightly floured surface, cut puff pastry into 9 3x3-inch squares.

Spread a spoonful of cream cheese in the center of each square.
